Let your customers know when you're on holiday — without losing sales. IDD Holiday Popup displays an elegant notice with your shipping pause period and return date, keeping your store open for orders. Fully configurable, multilingual and compatible with any PrestaShop 1.7 and 8 theme.
Going on holiday or need to pause shipping for a few days? The PrestaShop Holiday addon (IDD Holiday Popup) lets your customers know in a clear, considerate way — while keeping your store open for orders. When a visitor arrives, a popup displays your shipping pause period and expected return date, making it clear that orders are still being accepted and will be processed in sequence once you're back.
This helps you avoid misunderstandings, reduce refund requests and maintain customer trust — even while you rest.
The module is configured entirely from the back office, with no technical knowledge required, and adapts to your store's identity and schedule. You can choose from three display modes:
Simply set your shipping pause period and the return date will be calculated and displayed to your customers automatically.
All popup content is editable: the title, subtitle, shipping note and button text can be freely adjusted. You can also upload an image of your choice — banner, icon or background — with four possible positions, or use the icon already included.
Configuration is done per language and per store, making this addon well-suited to international shops and multi-store environments. If you're looking to strengthen your online store, this is a valuable addition for periods when you're away.
The visitor experience has been carefully considered. A "don't show again" option with an adjustable cookie duration prevents repeat visitors from seeing the notice unnecessarily.
Because search rankings matter, the module has been designed to avoid affecting indexing or being flagged as an intrusive popup by search engines. For further best practices, check out our content on ecommerce SEO.
Lightweight, fast and with no external dependencies, the PrestaShop Holiday addon is compatible with PrestaShop 1.7 and 8 and works with any theme, with integration tested across several.
