Reviews are loaded automatically from your Google listing and stored in a local cache. This eliminates unnecessary API calls and ensures your store does not rely on external services to render each page. If a network error occurs, the module serves the previously cached data instead of displaying an error.

A manual refresh button is also available, letting you force new reviews to load without waiting for the cache to expire. Whenever you update the API Key or Place ID, the cache is invalidated automatically.
In addition to the native PrestaShop hook — which places the widget in the footer across all pages — the module includes an embed endpoint (embed.php) that returns ready-to-use JavaScript for any page builder, external website or tool such as Elementor.
The integration code is generated automatically with your store's correct URL and is available with a single click in the back office. This way, you can display your Google reviews both in your PrestaShop store and in other web design projects.
