Managing your municipality's playgrounds has never been easier. A single platform, fully aligned with Decree-Law 203/2015 and European standards EN 1176 and EN 1177, giving you everything you need to keep spaces safe, compliant and always operational.
Parques Infantis is a web-based playground management and compliance platform designed for Portuguese municipalities and developed by ID Digital. It addresses the need for local authorities to keep their recreational spaces safe, inspected and compliant with Decree-Law 203/2015 and European standards EN 1176 and EN 1177, offering a modern, integrated alternative to existing market solutions.
The entire interface is in European Portuguese, and the application can be installed as a PWA, running smoothly on both desktop computers and mobile devices in the field.
At its core, the platform organises management around parks and their equipment. Each park is registered with full details, and each piece of equipment receives a comprehensive technical record to which photographs and documents can be attached.
From there, the entire lifecycle of the space is documented and accessible. Those managing the park know at any given moment what is there, what condition it is in and what history it carries.
Compliance is the central pillar of playground management. The platform enables regulatory inspections to be recorded in line with applicable legislation and technical standards, maintaining a complete history that serves as documentary evidence and a basis for decision-making.
When a fault is detected, it is logged at equipment level and the corresponding status is updated automatically — switching to operational or faulty depending on whether there are outstanding issues to resolve. Repairs are equally recorded, closing the loop between problem detection and resolution.
Incident management handles accidents and complaints as they arise. Each report is logged, moderated, tracked and, once resolved, archived — ensuring a documentary trail and transparency in the handling of every case.
The preventive maintenance module allows periodic plans to be defined with automatic calculation of the next intervention date, helping teams anticipate problems rather than simply react to them.
The platform was built with the realities of local authorities in mind, both in terms of supplier organisation and access control. It is possible to manage service providers and their contracts, as well as associate parks and users with specific municipalities.
This model ensures that each municipality's information remains separate and protected throughout the entire usage lifecycle.
Transparency towards residents is also built in. Each park can be shared publicly via dedicated links — with optional password protection when needed — and through QR codes that allow residents to instantly access information about the space.
Internally, the platform also includes messaging between users, an incident log and report generation.
This platform is part of ID Digital's portfolio of digital solutions for local government bodies, which also includes websites for parish councils.
